What is the best part of the holiday season? The spirit of giving? Spending time with loved ones? Cooking the day away? That feeling of renewed energy that comes with the start of a new year?
For us at Fundriver, it is all of the above! Our president, Steven, has always sent each team member a genuine and thoughtful gift for the holidays (I still treasure my harvesting basket circa 2017). Back in 2019 we decided to try something different. Instead of tangible gifts, Steven offered to donate on our behalf to a charity of our choice. To make an even greater impact, we process these donations on Giving Tuesday where many of our gifts are matched or even tripled! At our final company meeting of the year we spend some time enjoying a presentation that illustrates the diversity of our teams' interests. From dogs and cats, to food pantries near and far, even educational and community services across the globe... Here at Fundriver, we appreciate being able to share the magic of the season with each other, our family and friends, and our clients.
It's probably pretty evident that Fundriver is committed to employee well-being and work life balance. As such, we've adopted non standard holiday hours so we all have time to spend recharging our batteries. This year Fundriver offices will be closed Friday, December 24th through Friday, December 31st. If you have a support request that needs immediate attention during this closure, please indicate that within the ticket or email subject line and we will make sure you get in touch with someone
With our extended holiday break behind us, and a new year ahead of us, our team will be back in the offices on Monday, January 3rd with a renewed energy! At that time, we will attend to all outstanding client requests that had come in while the offices were closed.
