I could have never imagined everything that my role encompasses or what it would evolve into when I first started with Fundriver two years ago!
Working from home has been an amazing experience for me, now having two little ones at home (a 2-year-old and a 10-month-old). Saving on commute time, being able to do small household chores throughout the day, and of course having the flexibility when kids are sick or have appointments has been wonderful! I have also taken full advantage of getting to wear workout clothes (mainly yoga pants) every day/all day and never have to stress about what to wear! My husband and I also own several rental properties within our community, so being able to work from home and be nearby in case an emergency arises has been a great relief and stress reducer.
My typical days are made up of client calls and emails, reviewing client data needs and questions, and problem solving. My goal is to find a solution tailored to each client that will make their use of Fundriver more efficient. I love getting to meet and speak with so many different people from all over the United States (and beyond!); it’s fun to see the differences within each organization and how they manage their endowments. Each client is so unique and they are all looking for a product that will make their lives easier and streamline their endowment accounting processes. I love having the opportunity to exceed our client’s needs and expectations with their Fundriver setup. It’s a great feeling to make clients feel more at ease with a big transition like getting implemented into a new software!
