I can honestly say no two days are the same!
My first priority is to make sure our clients get what they need every day. I certainly don’t have all the answers, but I can guarantee that someone else on the team does! So, what do I really do? That is the million dollar question… I like to say that I dabble. My main focus is the help desk; I triage almost all of the tickets, emails, and phone calls that come through. Aside from that I also manage our Knowledge Base; writing and editing articles, updating images, keeping things as clean and simple as possible! I also do some work for our Product Development team; mostly testing, training, and documentation. The last big component of my day is billing; I do my best to make sure clients are billed in an efficient and timely manner. Oh, and I am the unofficial Fundriver Team Yogi! I lead the team in yoga a few times a week- it’s a great opportunity to connect with each other and unwind.
Work-wise things are pretty simple for me. Having the opportunity to work from home completely changed my life. My daughter will be 3 in July and my son will be 1 in August. Instead of spending the entire weekend doing chores, I’m now able to focus my time on family. Being able to throw in a load of wash and empty the dishwasher between meetings has been a total game changer! Your kids are only little this once! It’s also such a blessing to not have to stress on days when it’s snowing, or days when the littles don’t feel well. I just work when I can and our awesome team pulls together to support one another.
On any given day my husband’s dog will inevitably roll in something, so usually there’s a dog bath and bathroom sanitation plugged in to the week somewhere. I sneak a couple of yoga classes in after work and on the weekends if I can. So, what do I really do? A little of this and a little of that! It just works. As I said, no two days are the same.
