FULL-TIME ENDOWMENT ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST POSITION AVAILABLE

Fundriver, a fast paced, entrepreneurial technology solutions company, is looking for a full-time Endowment Accounting Specialist to assist with serving Fundriver’s client base. Job description:

The most important aspect of this position is to help maintain a high level of support as we service 400+ Clients.  Specifically, the mission of this position is to provide ongoing high-level customer support for endowment accounting and software issues for clients
primarily located in the East and Central time zones.  The Endowment Accounting
Specialist works collaboratively within the Client Experience model and must be able to work well within a team.

Main responsibilities:

•Deliver High Level Support to Client Experience team and clients by proactively
tracking issues from initial problem to resolution in Zendesk (ticketing system), meeting deadlines, prioritizing work items, communicating workflow and tagging tickets for weekly reports.
•Provide support to clients who submit endowment accounting tickets, i.e., spending rule set up, investment manager tracking, endowment and investment manager reconciliations.
•Work efficiently to troubleshoot client issues and proactively assign members of Client
Experience to resolve tickets as needed.
•Identify supplemental services and communicate to clients when items will require a statement of work.
•Ensure client specific processes are documented and published to the Knowledge Base.
•Daily participation in Endowment Accounting Team Huddles to communicate Primary Focus Item(s) and Bottleneck(s) and weekly participation in Client Experience
Team Meetings where client issues/resolutions are shared.

Qualified candidate requirements include:

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
•3+ years of experience in Accounting with the ability to translate accounting principles and practices to a wide audience
•Endowment accounting experience and Fundriver software experience preferred, but not required
•Experience in a non-profit environment or knowledge of fundraising operations a plus
•Dedication to excellence in customer service, strong communication and teamwork skills with an open, friendly demeanor
•Excellent attention to detail, time management, prioritization, multitasking and organizational skills
•Experience in MS Office with advanced Excel skills and Online ticketing and/or help desk experience a plus
•Ability to work from home
