A day in the life of Amy Cotterell

Hi! My name is Amy Cotterell and I’m an Implementation Specialist here at Fundriver.  Thanks for stopping in to read my “A day in the life…” blog article.  Nice to meet you!!

My role here is to help new clients onboard into Fundriver. I love my job! My days are an interesting mix of client calls and emails or quiet internal work that needs to be done. I like both, the interaction with clients (keeps me social) and the independent work (fits my introvert tendencies 😊).

We here at Fundriver get the biggest work perk of all, working from home. Daily commute for me in the morning is about 20 steps down the hall, usually carrying some dog treats (canine co-workers right behind me) and a must have cup of fresh ground home brewed coffee. Dress code is what I call “casual”; I’ve donated most of my pre-Fundriver “office clothes”. They just don’t match yoga pants!

Meet my work mates, Ollie the Hole digger and Kit Kat the diva dog:

At some point during the day I hit the gym (downstairs) or go outside for a walk/run.  I may have to spend some part of the day talking myself into it but wearing gym clothes to work sets the tone for exercise success.  I love the flexibility of being able to fit that into my work day around what I have going on.

I could not be happier, this is the best company to work for on the planet! Now if I could just figure out how to set up my office out by the pool…
